| Personality | Nanna Nao’s beautiful big eyes look right into your soul. She lives life at a slower pace than she once did, but finds pleasure in simple things – long naps, delicious snacks, sunshine… Nao had never been walked, brushed, or even stroked until a couple of months ago, so she’s still learning to trust people, but there’s not a shred of displeasure when she’s near them. She’s interested, but just hasn’t quite worked out how this “man’s best friend” stuff works… She will now let us put a harness on her and has really started to enjoy her walks. She’s not wild about baths or the vet, but she shows no aggression. Put a bowl of food near her and she’ll make you forget she’s a senior citizen – she eats with the gusto of a dog half her age. She needs to urinate rather frequently, so we think someone with a garden might be just the one for her. Nao may be in her silver years, but we’re hoping her next few years will be golden ones! |
