| Personality | Say hello to cute little Loquat! Perhaps one of our shyest dogs, from the group of Shiba mixes that arrived to ARK, Loquat is reserved and a little cautious. This is to be expected after growing up in the mountains with little or no contact with people. With a sweet, but timid character, it must have been tough on him. Regardless of his upbringing however, he is actually fond of people once he trusts you. We could hardly touch him when he first arrived but with each day that’s passed, he has started to build more confidence! He now enjoys his leisurely walks in the woods and when visitors enter his kennel he has even started greeting them! We are very proud of his progress. Now, all we can hope for, is a kind, patient and understanding forever family to make Loquat feel safe and loved. He certainly deserves it. |
