Personality	Nice to meet you, I’m Aspen. I’m a cute little guy who came from Shimane prefecture. You might have read about my story in the news- I was rescued along with 163 other animals from a terrible hoarding case. As a result of this trauma, I am a little timid and uncertain about many things. However, since being cared for at ARK, I’ve been building up confidence every day. I never had experience being walked on a leash outside, so it’s been a learning experience for me, however I am getting used to it. Now, I am starting to enjoy the beautiful scenery around the shelter. I am very patient at the vets and get along with other dogs and I don’t show any aggression. My skin is rather sensitive and needs treatment for a while (particularly on my face and neck area) but during my medical shampoo sessions, I’m a very good boy and remain still. I am so glad to have been rescued by ARK, but now I am hoping for a forever home where I will be treated with the respect, care, and love I never had. I am a very sweet boy and I think I deserve a lot of happiness. Please come visit me soon!
