I was kept, along with 25 other dogs in Osaka Castle Park by a homeless man. When he was hospitalized the city were asked to look after us. Our situation became very bad as we were chained in filthy damp conditions under the Castle wall. Because I have curved spine and the joints in my back legs didn't form correctly when I was born, I was the weakest in the pack. So, the stronger dogs fought to get my food and soon I was covered in infected bite wounds and mud. In fact I was near death when ARK rescued me. Now recovered and stronger I have learnt not only to walk again but run as well, although rather strangely like a puppet. Some time after coming to ARK, I was sharing a prefab home with two other dogs when there was a huge typhoon and the side of the mountain slid down and destroyed the prefab. Since we were not tied we could escape through a small hole. So that was my second ' brush with death.'
