ARK rescued me and several other mini-Shiba from a horrible pet shop where we were kept stacked in cages in an alleyway beside the shop. Urine and feces from the cages above, leaked down onto those below. We had no shade from the hot sun nor protection from wind and rain. Our claws grew so long that they curled around the bars of the cage floor. Although neighbours wanted to complain, about the stench, rather than about our conditions, they were frightened of the man. As he was also a breeder, he prefered to have younger animals so he let ARK take us. I was adopted and went to live in a home but my owner's circumstances changed and so here I am back at ARK. I'm a bit on the tubby-side because I prefer eating to taking strenuous exercise but you may be able to persuade me to come for a walk with you.
